River Styx
Slap! Slap! Slap!
Pink toes dabble in the sable sand.
Slap!
Pink skin, shrouded in transparent cotton, glistens.
Slap! Slap!
Hair, black as a winter creek, trickles in the breeze.
Slap!
Fingers are clenched. Lip bitten.
Slap!
White toes slide on emerald moss.
Slap!
Knees submerge.
Clear fluid caresses trembling thighs.
Slap!
Chill, firm water supports timid flesh.
The Reaver's embrace is near.
Taut breasts bathe in silver light.
Whispering.
The delicious gift delights eager lungs.
The gleaming tabernacle quivers in rapture.
Tranquil water is replete.

I wrote this at From Thought to Print: A Book-Out. Middle school and high school students gathered for one day, wrote, illustrated, typeset and produced a book on that day.
