Amber

Amber is love,
A golden symbol from above.
Amber is warm,
Believed to keep you from harm.
Amber is gold,
Yellow and smooth and very old.
Amber is light,
Helping develop our inner sight.
Amber is life,
Relieving our minds from trouble and strife.
Amber is all that I love,
Something I know was sent from above.

I wrote this at From Thought to Print: A Book-Out. Middle school and high school students gathered for one day, wrote, illustrated, typeset and produced a book on that day.
