I View You in a Multi-dimensional Kaleidoscope

What magic
in that particular
tendon
in your neck
alters me?

Symphonic depths
of light dancing
over skin and smooth muscle
startle me.

I hold my breath as I
plunge into the cool,
shocking pool of awareness:

your body.

Most times after I walk away
I remember you in collages:

a jigsaw puzzle constructed
in your motion.

Most complete in
pieces;
statistics of your form do not
define
you.

I can cite your height and hair color, but

I know
you

by the angles of your thumb and the butterfly
flutter in your throat.
