I have told you my name
I envy the shower spray
that warms your skin and
the embrace of air
in which you move
quilted under afternoon shade
I behold your body;
you become a world
unto me
plains and forests
all I touch
and see
around us
in the deepening
black, your music draws
a net of stars
like water poured out
you flow into me
Beloved
curl your smallest finger around mine
and I will stay; for with you
I dwell.
