It's not at all unusual for me to cry while writing, particularly while writing sad poetry.

I had a particularly difficult weekend, and this Sunday afternoon kept getting worse. I felt sad before writing At sea. More sad afterward.

So I went for a walk to try to shift my mind space. I walked over to Staples to get more paper for first drafts and a new presentation binder for my April poetry. They were out of both.

On the way home, I bent my head over to hide behind my hair whenever someone passed. I didn't want anyone to ask.

Nothing's wrong. Life is sorrow.
