I got my first pair of reading glasses when I was nineteen, but didn't wear them most of the time.

Now I must wear them whenever I work on the computer at all, that's even with dual monitors, one of which is 19 inches across the diagonal.

I actually have two pair of glasses, my regular pair and a stronger pair for when my eyes get really tired.

Web work is especially difficult because I must look directly at the screen for extended periods of time.

This is Saturday Night, a chronicle of loneliness.
