I think that the contrasting textures of carpet, shoe, skin and hair are fascinating in this photo.

A friend of mine said I should talk more about what I was thinking and feeling while I took these pictures. Well, what do you imagine I was thinking?

This is a terribly intimate view of my body, which I'm revealing to everyone. My family could see this, potential clients. These photos will undoubtedly be seen by people who will judge me negatively and harshly for taking them.

Yet, I persist, because I don't think my fear is a very good reason for not doing things, because I hope to find something meatier and more substantial within myself, and because I hope that, in sharing my journey, I may reveal something that will resonate within you. That the shared experience of creating and observing art will make us all resonate with the sacred harmonic.
