Photography

I have no interest in photography in itself. I know very little about lenses or f-stops or photographic techniques.

My interest is my personal journey.

All of these pictures were taken with a Kodak Easy Share fixed-focus camera held in my hand.

I've long had trouble actually seeing myself, and even more difficulty in seeing any beauty in my physical self. These photographs are the footprints I leave behind on that journey.

A photographer friend of mine persuaded me that black and white photos are best displayed in black mats. I think the black background is particularly important on the internet because the computer monitor emits light and the glare of white negative space is overwhelming and detracts from the photo.

When you enter the photo section, everything will turn upside down to the negative images (appropriate for photography).

Because I'm exploring myself as frankly and honestly as possible, some of the photographs contain content that may be offensive to some viewers or illegal for you to view if you are under 18 (or 21 depending on your jurisdiction).

If you're too young or think you might be offended, please stay out here on the white side.
