
There's all kinds of problems here.
I drew this from an actual reproduction of Rodin's Eve.
The drawing's not finished and I'm really not too happy with the color and shadows.
The real problem, which was evident at the time I drew it, is that her lower legs look way too massive. We (my drawing instructor) and I discussed it quite a bit and looked at the statue and finally decided that in the sculpture, her lower legs are also too massive. They probably have to be to support the weight of the piece.
I'd like to try this one again.
